A few comments about FPAC's Les Miz from our audience
(emailed to their friends, to FPAC staff and/or copied and pasted from Facebook)

"I just wanted to drop a note and to tell you that I woke up this morning still blown away. The show last night was one of the best if not the best young adult shows I have ever seen. You, your staff & the amazing young actors should be proud. The show was off the charts!!!!"
Brian Finkenthal

"Spectacular! Incredible! Congratulations to all involved. I was blown away. Extraordinary - that's the only word I can use. It opened Thursday night and both last night and tonight packed houses left the theater at the end of the show in tears. Quite frankly, I think this company should be the next national tour. It's just that good. I'm STILL crying...! I'm at a rare loss for words. The show was incredible. As professional as it gets. Thank you for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful piece of work. Yes, it's "kids".... but you wouldn't know it seeing them on the stage – principal roles are being played by the most talented young actors around with voices beyond belief. Every one of them is Broadway-ready. The entire cast is stellar. And the production is just extraordinary. I PROMISE you....you will not regret going. You may regret NOT going... it's just that good. A "non-believer" (Gerry Zwick for those of you who know him) was pulled along by his wife tonight.... at the end of the show, unsolicited, he said "It was better than the one at Playhouse Square." The music is hauntingly beautiful; the production is amazing. You'll be glad you went."
Staci Vincent

"Les Mis fans or not, you will definitely become one after you see FPAC's Les Mis, or you will become FPAC's fans. Thank you for the wonderful performance!"
Katerine Moner

"Absolutely blown away by the stellar performances of all the kids involved in FPAC’s Les Mis. You guys are all stars. Congrats!!! My favorite FPAC show so far :) This is youth theatre at it's absolute best!!! You forget they're kids. AMAZING!"
Irene Karaplis

"FPAC has outdone itself yet again! I thoroughly enjoyed every second of this amazing production! And yes, I'll admit it - I cried. It’s sold out every show for a reason!! Everyone MUST come and see this!"
Emma Weihe

"The show tonight was beyond amazing. The cast was brilliant, and their voices were spot-on. They were fantastic. I'm one proud board member! For those of you who didn't see the show this weekend, I'll keep it simple. You MUST go and see it! It is an amazing production, and rivals the Broadway version in its perfect casting, pitch-perfect singing, and excellent staging and set design. My family was blown-away and my 15 year old daughter is now very eager to audition for next year's workshops as a result. Congratulations to Fred and his team for an incredible show."
Chris Montana, Fairmount Center Board Member

"Really impressed by the production of "Les Miserables" I saw last night at FPAC. Really engaging childrens' theatre. Well done everyone!"
Michael Prosen

"Congratulations to the students of FPAC - great job on Les Mis tonight!"
Mat Wirfel

"Les Miz Rocks! This is the first production I've seen at FPAC and I have to tell you that I was totally amazed by all the talent! The acting, the voices, WOW! My family came on Saturday to see Les Miz and they're still talking about how spectacular it was! More family coming this weekend... Fred, Govanna is loving every minute of it! Thanks!"
Angela Miller

"Great job to the cast of Les Miz! Great opening night, everyone was beyond amazing!"
Arielle Tindel

"Loved you in Les Miz!! I enjoyed your show even more than the Broadway tour!"
Beth Whittington Van Horn

"A must-see! Amazing cast! Thanks Fred!"
Joy Pollak

"Instead of watching the magic of Harry Potter tonight we went to see the brilliant FPAC production of Les Mis. Words cannot express how amazing these performers were. NYC look out. There are a whole bunch of Northeast Ohioans on their way to Broadway. Congrats to Fred Sternfeld and his cast and crew. A Broadway caliber performance!"
Lori Galambos

"Fred, that was magical!"
Mikhail Oet

"Bravo to the outstanding cast & crew of FPAC's "Les Mis." Each and every one of you has taken a show difficult to do, and done it superbly." Can't wait to see it again, and again." "What a great day Friday for what I'm now calling FPAC's production of "Les Awesomes!"! Appearance on "Good Company" rocked. Show last night was awesome, like the rest. Bravo, again, to Fred, Bebe, and the entire cast & crew. Each and everyone of you adds something special to this amazing production. Your 'sold-out' status is proof. C'est magnifique! Merci!"
Beth Simon

"Tia, I couldn't be more proud of your performance as Cosette. I felt your joy, your pain and the chemistry between you and Marius was electric. I look forward to many more beautiful performances before you put this role to rest."
Irene Karaplis

"ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SHOW! If you want to see a fabulous show, check out FPAC'S Les Mis!"
Lynn Maslinski

"Anyone in the Cleveland area who has the chance to go see FPAC performance of Les Mis, GO! WOW is all I gotta say. So much young talent. Great job to all the cast and of course to my daughter Julia. It was sooooo impressive! Everyone was truly amazing!!"
Marla Finkenthal

"Phenomenal cast and absolutely amazing performance tonight to a sold-out crowd! So proud!"
Joy Pollak

"Wow... To everybody that was in Les Miserables, that was amazing."
Adam Gurary

"Congratulations on an outstanding show. It is so great for the kids to consistently play to a full house! My parents are coming up from Toronto and I wasn't sure if they wanted to come on Saturday night or on Sunday --I'm glad I made a decision a few days ago! I would have hated for them to miss this-they haven't seen one of your shows yet and are expecting a typical youth theater production--this will knock their socks off! Thanks for everything you do."
Anita Murthy

OMG Les Miserables was SOOOOOOO GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! It made me cry at the end! lol omg the singing was Phenomonal!!!!!!!!!!!! everyone did such a great job!!!!!! :D I LOVED IT!!!!!!!
Alex Martinez

Went to see Les Miserables at FPAC last night and was blown away by the talent on the stage.
Jamie Benetto

to Terry Moir at WKYC, Channel 3...
I want to thank you for the review of Les Miserables. My husband and I attended on Friday. We would never have found this theatre without your review. We were blown away by this production. We attend productions at Playhouse Square a couple times a year. Les Miserables is one of my favorites. This production by these kids could stand up to the productions we have seen in the past. The star, (I think Sean) was not only a strong singer but his acting ability was unbelievable. He brought me to tears. Everyone should be commended for this fantastic production. I wish it would have played another weekend as I have a lot of friends that would have liked to have seen it.

Mandy Arent
(Sister Helena - The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie) continues to love being a part of the Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory's productions. Gabriel Brown
(Javert - Les Misérables: School Edition) 17, will be a senior this fall at Cleveland Heights High School. This is Gabriel’s first show with FPAC. His favorite role in a musical was Gaston in Cleveland Heights High School’s production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. This is the first year that Gabriel is attending FPAC's summer professional training program after participating in the Winter program earlier this year. Gabriel is very happy to have the opportunity to work with such talented directors and performers through FPAC and is excited to be a part of the cast of Les Miz. He would like to thank his Mom, Dad, and sister for the incredible support through his late-blossoming love of music and theatre. Lastly, Gabriel would like to thank Fred Sternfeld for giving him the chance to play such a coveted role and Bebe Katz for getting him involved in the FPAC community.

Jessica Brown (Kid Ensemble - Big, the musical) is in 5th grade at St. Rita Parish School in Solon, Ohio.
